SRCAA Advisory Council position opening: Member-at-Large

Applications are being accepted for the Member-at-large position on SRCAA’s 9-member volunteer Advisory Council. This is an unpaid, four-year term ending December 31, 2027. Spokane County residents interested in local air quality issues and with backgrounds in Air Quality Activities are encouraged to apply.

The role of the Advisory Council is to provide counsel and input to the Executive Director and Board of Directors on agency programs and regulations which are designed to carry out the purposes of the Washington Clean Air Act.

The Advisory Council typically meets the fourth Thursday of the month, from 8-9 a.m., at Spokane Clean Air’s office, 1610 S. Technology Blvd., Spokane, WA 99224.

Interested and qualified applicants may apply for the position by submitting a letter of interest to Spokane Clean Air, Attn: Scott Windsor, Executive Director, 1610 S. Technology Blvd, Suite 101 Spokane, WA  99224, by November 20, 2023. The letter should describe the applicant’s experience and give a brief explanation of their interest in air quality issues. The position is appointed by the Board of Directors who will review the applications at their December 7, 2023 regular Board of Directors meeting.
