File an Air Quality Complaint

If you are experiencing an outdoor air quality issue, we encourage you to file a complaint with this online complaint form. Using this form is the fastest way to get the information directly to our field staff for follow-up.

You may also call us at 509-477-4727. If calling outside normal business hours, you will be prompted to leave detailed information.

Request a Public Record

We are committed to providing full access to all public records in accordance with the Washington State Public Records Act.

For efficiency and clarity, we encourage you to make your request using this Public Records Request form.

You can choose to request records in person at our office, by phone, mail, or email. Your request should be as detailed as possible so that we can efficiently provide responsive records. This includes:

  • Your name and mailing address
  • Email address, daytime phone number
  • Date and time of the request
  • Nature of the request, specifically identifying the public records being request.
  • If you desire hard copies or electronic copies, or to come in and inspect the requested records

You will receive a reply to your records request within five (5) business days of the receipt of the request [RCW 42.56.520(1)].

Fees – There is no fee for viewing agency records. Payment for copies of responsive records is required in advance or at the time the requestor receives the records. Spokane Clean Air uses the state legislature’s approved fees and costs as provided in RCW 42.56.120.

A request for a public record is a public record itself and is subject to disclosure under the Act. We encourage you to read our Public Disclosure Request Policy, before submitting a records request.

The Public Records Act prohibits the use of lists of individuals for commercial purposes [RCW 42.56.070(8)]. If a list is requested, a completed Commercial Purpose Declaration form must be submitted to Spokane Clean Air for review.
