About 20 percent of the air pollution in the Spokane-metro area is attributed to commercial and industrial operations. To minimize emissions from this sector, we conduct annual registration and provide compliance assistance. We also issue permits with operational requirements and perform facility inspections.

Notice of Construction (NOC)

To construct, install, replace, or modify an air contaminant source, emissions unit, or air pollution control equipment, a permit application must be submitted to us for prior approval.

Portable Source Permit (PSP)

To install and operate a portable/temporary source in Spokane County, a permit application must submitted to us for prior approval.

Marijuana Production Processing

Marijuana producers and processors in Spokane County must meet Standards for Marijuana Production and Marijuana Processing

Air Operating Permit (AOP)
