Spokane Clean Air invites the public to review and comment on its draft budget for fiscal year 2027 (July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027).
The draft budget includes a 2.8% fee increase in the Consolidated Fee Schedule (CFS) for the following fee-based programs: registration, asbestos, outdoor burning, and paving waiver.
The Spokane Clean Air Board of Directors (BOD) will discuss the draft budget at its May 7, 2026, Board meeting.
A public hearing will be held during the June 4, 2026, after which the BOD will take action on the budget. Written comments on the draft budget will be accepted now until June 2, 2026. Comments may be emailed to publiccomment@spokanecleanair.org.
The public is encouraged to attend board meetings, which take place on the first Thursday of each month, unless otherwise publicized. Meetings are held at Spokane Clean Air’s office located at 1610 S. Technology Blvd, Suite 101, Spokane WA, 99224, starting at 9:30 a.m. An agenda is posted a week before each meeting, which includes instructions for those wishing to join the meeting virtually versus in-person.
