Spokane Clean Air Proposes Revisions to Article II General Provisions

Public Invited to Review and Comment

To help protect the safety of staff, Spokane Regional Clean Air Agency (SRCAA) is proposing to add a new section to Article II, Section 2.15 Intimidation. The new section allows SRCAA to issue a Notice of Violation (NOV) if SRCAA staff are directly or indirectly, assaulted, intimidated, threatened, coerced, harassed, or unlawfully imprisoned. The NOV may be issued regardless of a criminal charge or conviction related to the same incident. The NOV may be followed with a civil penalty.

Public Hearing: On Thursday, December 7, 2017, a public hearing will be held during the SRCAA’s Board of Directors meeting, which starts at 9:30 a.m., at SRCAA’s office, 3104 E. Augusta Ave., Spokane, WA 99207. At the end of the hearing, the Board of Directors may decide whether or not to adopt the proposed changes.
