Wood stoveSpokane Clean Air is teaming up with the Northwest Hearth, Patio and Barbecue Association and the Spokane County Library to bring you a Burn Smart, Burn Safe Webinar on Thursday, January 21, 2021 from 6pm-7pm.

Burn Smart, Burn Safe will focus on techniques for cleaner, more efficient wood heating, for saving money, and for improving indoor air quality.

The presenters, including Lisa Woodard with Spokane Clean Air, will share the connection between air quality, weather, and wood smoke. They will also explore the different type of wood stoves, how to properly start a wood stove, and the importance of air draft for clean air and the functionality of your wood stove.

Additionally, you will learn what causes chimney fires and the importance of dry wood for a clean burning fire. There will also be time for your questions, and additional resources will be provided.
