Current Air Quality: Air quality in the good range and is expected to remain good throughout today and tomorrow. Below is the forecast discussion:
Tuesday, January 22nd – A strong winter weather system is forecast to arrive this afternoon, bringing a mix of snow and rain to our area through Wednesday morning along with gusting winds. Many areas to the north and east could see snow throughout the night, but lower elevations like the urban core are forecast to receive a snow and snow/rain mix Tuesday before transitioning to all rain on Wednesday. Although fine particulates (PM-2.5) may accumulate at times, the unsettled conditions and good mixing should keep air quality in the AQI-Good range on Tuesday and Wednesday. /MCKAY
